• Also known as: Tao Qian
• Dates: 365-427
• Place: Jiujiang, Jiangxi, China
• Language: Chinese
• Who he was: Chinese poet of the Six Dynasties period, known for "field and garden" poetry (about domesticated nature). Also wrote the Tao Hua Yuan (Peach Blossom Spring), a fable about a sort of utopia.
